Crow Outdoor Services - Des Moines, IA

July 2021 to October 2021

My last job involved me working outside with an independent company, Crow Outdoor Services. We were known mainly for tree cutting which included: removals, trimming, elevating, emergency assistants. We had a 5 man crew with the boss being the planner, scheduling times for us to come out to someone's place. I and one of my coworkers were in charge of pulling the trailer, along with our skid loader in the back of the trailer. As soon as we got to our site for the day I would get everything set up for our foreman. This included: chainsaw, rope, chipper, gas, oil, etc. Mainly what I did was chip any of the branches and sometimes logs if they fit. When we kept logs I or my coworker would be responsible for loading logs in the back of our trailer, anytime it got full we would go dump. Days were long about 10 to 12 hours, before we would leave any site we always cleaned up after ourselves. It was a very different job from all of the others I picked up on so many new skill traits. Having a productive and positive team around each day made it so much better. There was never a day where it was a cakewalk we grinded our butts off to be the best outdoor services there could be in Des Moines. Sales Associate/Cashier/Customer Service

Lowe's - Coralville, IA

April 2020 to March 2021

Working at Lowe's I started in the lawn and garden section then eventually moved to receiving. My role I took on in receiving was receiver/stocker. During my time working in receiving I get my certification in Forklift, Star Wars, and Order Picker. We would unload any freight,/appliances we would receive using power equipment, dollies, and just sometimes our bodies. Organizing and stocking merchandise out on the floor was big, we did everything for customers so we could be able to exceed their expectations. I also was part time delivery while working in receiving we struggled with helpers for our delivery drivers, so I would sometimes help deliver products to out customers. Customer Sales

Mass Markets - North Liberty, IA

June 2019 to February 2020

I work for 3 programs overall at MM. Spectrum TV and internet I started on first getting people to take a free week of our streaming service. Rebuttals were big working for spectrum because the call truly does start at no you. Being able to know your product well vs theirs is big. The main thing we were trying to do was to get our scrappers on the phone to recap the sale. I took part in recapping as well verifying their information and explaining the product to them again making sure they don't back out. We used very aggressive sales pitch and assume every customer wants it. For a few weeks I sold spark light which is internet they needed people who could make sales and took me. That later company I sold for was GM Onstar which works with vehicles, Chevrolet, GMC, Buick, Cadillac, E.T.C. This was a way different program meaning we try to give customers complimentary free months of our service. We manage method of payments on this program as well setting customers up for monthly payments of our service being able to use it. I gain a lot of customer experience from this job it wasn't manage the best at all a lot of lies they tell you their. I can use the experience if selling from MM to the real world Store Manager
