Special Tribunal for Lebanon Close Protection – Firearms Trainer (June 2014 - Jul 2021)

The STL was an international criminal tribunal established pursuant to United Nations (UN) Resolution 1757 under Chapter VII of the UN Charter and was mandated to investigate the assassination of the former Prime Minister of Lebanon, Mr Rafik Hariri and other crimes connected to this attack. During the period in question, Mr Paul Neathey was employed as a member of the Close Protection Team tasked with providing security for staff members of the Tribunal. In addition, he has also acted as a range officer and firearms trainer/instructor on the STL weapons systems (H&K G36, H&K UMP and Glock 9mm).
