Working experience

1.Technical officer (chief electrical artificer) Sri Lanka navy electrical and electronic department, Colombo, Sri Lanka (from July 1999 to February 2011)

During the service I attend to repair and maintenance of following system.

Heating and Ventilation system

Generator prime mover control systems.

Power distribution systems.

Fire alarm monitoring system and fire fighting systems.

Main engine monitoring and control system with electronic governors such as MTU 12V 396TE94, 12V396TB93, Deutz Tb 16v620.

Refrigeration & Air conditioning system control circuitry.

Electro hydraulic crane control systems.

Auto pilot steering system

Gyro compass such as various models of Anschutz and speery.

2.Feed mill and safety manager, cattle feed mill division, Ambewela product (Pvt) Ltd, Ambewela, Sri Lanka (from March 2011 to current).

Responsibilities: I oversee the production, quality, cost and safety of the feed mill that produces feed for animals. Further responsible for reviewing production record, scheduling feed production, keeping inventory of feed ingredient and ordering as needed, testing and reviewing feed/grain quality, scheduling employee shift and keeping track of employee time, handling customer questions and complaints, evaluating operating procedure, setting quality assurance standards, preparing and monitoring monthly, quarterly and yearly budgets. Staying up to –date-on new technology and ways to make process improvements, training new employees and providing development opportunities, ensuring all employees are trained on safety and continuing to stay up-to-date, and maintaining filling equipment and other equipment needed to perform duties. Especially I oversee preventive maintenance and repairs

of all machinery, Fork lift, vehicle of feed mill. Further I have experience in maintenance and repair of weighbridges and facility maintenance in feed mill.
