Product Development - Retail Acuity Owner/Founder

Architected and managed cloud SAAS ERP development for the retail merchandising industry. Designed MS SQL Server database backend. Major features include payroll, invoicing and field rep management. Business intelligence created with DevExpress, Tableau, Microsoft SSRS and Microsoft Power BI

Leadership and stakeholder responsibilities: Gathered requirements and stakeholder feature lists to create use cases, requirements and prototypes. Created and led a team of developers, data engineers and QA to produce the product.

Mapping and GPS was used by integrating Bing maps and Google maps API

Product is fully hosted in Azure (websites, SQL, VM and storage). Architected geographic redundancy and auto scaling (for heavy times e.g., 4th quarter for retail)

Software Dev - ProPhotoapps Contractor

Managed the development of mobile applications and content management system that was resold to individual photographers. The system supports 500,000+ hits per month and has 70,000 new downloads from the Apple Store per month and reached 200 different apps in the Apple app store

C# ASP.net was used for the content management backend, web services layer, and shopping cart. The shopping cart integrates with Authorize.net.

Objective c was used for the original version of the iPhone App with Appcelerator (mix of HTML5 and JavaScript) being used for the new version for both ease of maintenance as well as cross platform applications (Windows, Android and iPhone)

Software Architecture - MMC Contractor

Created an employee time tracking and work request mobile and web app for a 2000 user mobile work force. The system replaced the manual paper system which is saving thousands monthly. The system is used by a company that employees “merchandisers” to go into Kohl’s as well as other stores to optimize the presentation of products.

Early cloud technologies such as blob storage and SQL in Azure were utilized to ensure scalability

Written in C# ASP.net with the user interface was enhanced by using an AJAX style of form processing (callbacks) using DevExpress

Created information system that effectively tracks and determines customer billing. This software was used to regain $150,000 per month in previously un-billed revenue.

SQL server 2008 with reporting services were used to create the interface
