PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

●Electrical Project Manager, PDVSA Exploration & Production (Oil & Gas Company). 2018 - 2023. Project: 115/13.8 kV EPC Electrical Substations under IEC 61850 Standard with the GE Multilin HardFiber System, six bays, four power Transformers 65 MVA. Activities: Construction overseeing of the project, Reviewed and approved Detailed Engineering Design. Monitored the project to ensure that the work scope, schedule, costs, and standards are meeting project requirements. Managed staff and assigned engineering and technical personnel tasks, overseeing the efficient running of projects, including providing supervision and guidance to other engineers. Coordinated with other disciplines both internally and externally. Prepared equipment, materials, construction specifications, and scope documents for EPC tenders and contract documents. ●Project Engineer, PDVSA Exploration & Production (Oil & Gas Company). 2017-2018. Project: Gas Lift Injection Plant El Furrial. Venezuela. Activities: Reviewed everything about electrical Detailed Engineering Design, providing technical guidance to others regarding projects. Monitored the project to ensure that the work scope is according to the drawings. Developed a motor acceleration study to validate the start of a 250 HP pump from an electrical generator. Participated in the commissioning test of MCC and the plants’ electrical systems.

●Commissioning Leader, PDVSA Engineering & Construction (Oil & Gas Company). 2016-2017. Project: EPC of Facilities for Extra-Heavy Crude Oil Production increased from 105 MDB to 165 MDB within Sinovensa Petroleum Facilities in Mixture Plant Jose (PMJ), Morichal, and Block MPE-3. Activities: Participated in preparing phase to development schedule and division of systems using a systemization approach for the commissioning of the EPC project. Followed up to document preparation and commissioning and operating procedure.

●Engineering Manager, PDVSA Engineering & Construction (Oil & Gas Company). 2014-2016. Project: EPC of Facilities for Extra-Heavy Crude Oil Production increased from 105 MDB to 165 MDB within Sinovensa Petroleum Facilities in PMJ, Morichal, and Block MPE-3. Activities: Planned, coordinated, reviewed, and approved everything about the Detailed Engineering Design of the project. Monitored the project to ensure that the work scope, schedule, and standards are meeting project requirements. Reviewed and approved documents, drawings, technical bid evaluations, material requisition, scope change control, manufacture approval engineering, field engineering to support construction work, design change notification, kick-off meeting with Contractors, day to day with the Chinese Team to complete EPC on time. Participated in constructability analysis, Hazop Study, and Lessons Learned.

●Electrical Construction Project Leader, PDVSA Engineering & Construction (Oil & Gas Company). 2012-2014. Project: Level Monitoring Lake Los Tacarigua. Activities: Construction overseeing, Generated documents, calculations, and drawings Detailed Engineering Design for improvement of two existing pump stations, including electrical substation and OHL. Construction Inspection. Coordination study and relay parameterization were carried out to allow the start of a fifth pump.

●Construction Manager, PDVSA GAS (Oil & Gas Company). 2010-2012. Project: Electric infrastructure - Soto Project (EPC). Activities: Oversaw the Construction of a 44 km long 69 kV Transmission overhead line and 69/13.8 kV electrical Mobil Substation. Planned, coordinated, reviewed, and approved everything about the Construction of the project. Developed project execution plans, kick-off meetings, contract reviews, and scope reviews of the project. Overseeing the quality control Plan.

●Electrical & Instrument Leader, PDVSA GAS (Oil & Gas Company). 2008-2010. Project: Anaco Gas Project. Operation Center San Joaquin. Activities: Coordinated all electrical and instrumentation pre-commissioning and commissioning activities of the project. Oversaw the construction was carried out by the provisions of the construction plans within the planned and complying with time and the guidelines of quality. Oversaw the installation, wiring, connection and testing of electrical equipment and process instrumentation.

●Engineering and Construction Project Leader, PDVSA GAS. 2007-2008. Project: Distributed Power Generation System Aragua de Barcelona. Activities: Coordinated a multidisciplinary team for Basic- Detail Engineering and subsequent implementation of a module 10 Groups Generators with Spanish technology company Guascor with a nominal power of 775 KW each. Developed cable sizing, duct bank design, load study, medium voltage power line design, grounding design for installation of 10 sets of power generators, 10 transformers 13.8/0.48 kV, a switchgear and control room.

●Construction Inspector, PDVSA GAS. 2006-2007 Projects: "Adaptation Production Facilities at Aguasay Camp: Replacing Gas Engine for Power" and Project: "EPC Relief and Venting System Compressor Plant Santa Rosa II". Activities: Coordinated all construction supervision activities to change five Gas Engine oil pumping to electrical motors and for installation and commissioning of Santa Rosa II compressor plant’s Flare.

●Electrical Project Engineer, PDVSA GAS. 2005-2006. Project: "EPC for Reactivation of Compressors in Traditional Areas – RECAT Project''. Activities: Reviewed and approved Detailed Engineering Design, Document review of technical specification, data sheets, calculations, BOM, grounding drawings, lighting design, duct bank, hazardous area, cable and transformer sizing, schematics, power system studies, and Construct inspection.
