Worked as an unarmed security officer in commercial buildings in Los Angeles, Beverly Hills and Santa Monica. First 4 years worked at the" Hilton Worldwide Corporate Headquarter " in Beverly Hills. Duties include guarding lobbies of facility's 3 buildings, confirmed visitors business appointments over the phone and directed them to contact person within the facility. Also was responsible to issue visitors with daily access cards. Monitored CCTV and conducted patrols of perimeter and garage. I worked in 2 locations with Guards Mark Security. The first one was at th Simon Wiesenthal Center / Museum Of Tolerance in West Los Angeles(On Pico Blvd.). This Museum was heavily guarded due to constant threats from Nazis hate groups ! Duties at that post were to guard Museum main entrance and check visitors and bags with metal detector, to guard parking lot entrance and check carefully each car's trunk and car's interior check bottom of cars with a mirror. To guard museum exhibit rooms, to patrol museum perimeter and garage, to guard museum's Temple and Boys school, Frequently escorted Rabbi Hier (Head of Museum from his residence close by in the neighborhood to Temple. Monitored video cameras from security base. Also, museum's officers guarded public events inside the museum and outside the Museum in various places in the Los Angeles area. My 2nd post was at Impath. Impath was a cancer research company in Marina Del Ray, California. My main duties were to guard main entrance and registered all incoming vehicles (Visitors and Contractors). Another important duty was to accept shipments of bone marrow and deliver them right away to lab technicians. All bone marrow shipments were logged in, signed by lab technicians on duty and handed the next day to facility management office. It was a special oxygen tank which I had to check often, and I had to report right away to building's engineer if tank is close to be empty.
