With over 25 years of IT business experience, I bring an unusual combination of operational experience with a tactical mindset. My leadership style can be best described as forward-thinking, efficient, and effective, with a strong emphasis on service and integrity.
In addition to establishing a track record for dependability and honesty in all these scenarios, I have navigated multi-million-dollar departmental budgets, repaired team dysfunctions, and juggled vendor management with projects, delivering on time and under budget. My reputation is built on the strategic execution of initiatives with minimal direction from the executive team.
To summarize my business experience, I have served in many positions in corporate leadership, from a manager to Chief Information Officer.
In these roles, I have:
Interfaced with the C-suite executives, and assessed their IT and communication needs to provide solutions to resolve matters from local to global levels.
Managed teams dispersed in multiple remote offices in multiple states and countries.
Served as an executive on the ground in Hurricane Sandy relief for logistical response to mobilize commuter transportation. The project’s purpose was to augment the New Jersey Transit system due to critical damage to public infrastructure that rendered the subway system unusable for multiple weeks.
Purchased IT goods, software, and services for response to FEMA contract for hurricane disaster relief assignments after Hurricane Katrina.
Successfully relocated corporate offices, having overseen projects that moved locations a few miles away in person or remotely, or many states away.
Proven myself highly successful in negotiating contracts, managing projects and teams, and deploying projects and ongoing efforts to meet or exceed executive expectations.
Represented and pulled the company through emergency recovery from a ransomware attack. This is a rapidly emerging threat--something every organization will soon experience, if not already.
I have been well-prepared for every business challenge by the secular marketplace, and now I am ready to bring the same no-nonsense, fair, and effective approach to the ministry. I was ordained by the Assemblies of God in 2016 and have served in a bi-vocational capacity in ministry for more than 30 years, so my heart has always been for building God’s kingdom. Now, I am eager to make it a full-time endeavor.
