Certified Pharmacy Technician

Under the direct supervision of a pharmacist, my job duties include dispensing prescription drugs and other medical devices to patients and instructing on their use. I also perform administrative duties in pharmaceutical practice, such as reviewing prescription requests with doctor's offices and insurance companies to ensure correct medications are provided and payment is received.

Senior Living Communities (June 2012 – August 2016)

Certified Nursing Assistant/Phlebotomist/Medical Technician

During my tenure with this company, I assumed different roles and achieved additional certifications in the medical field. This included working as a nursing assistant and became certified; I worked closely with nurses and medical staff to ensure that patients were provided basic care on a daily basis. Some of these duties include bathing, feeding and dressing patients. I also achieved national certifications in Phlebetomy and as a Medical Technician.

My employment with Wal-Mart gave me experiences to work in many facets of retail. I began as a cashier and quickly moved to customer service. In 2001, I became a sales floor associate and then transitioned to the Inventory Control Team. From 2005 until my departure I was the Inventory Control Lead.
