Professional Summary

As a Mechanical Engineer with 27 years of experience, I have made Exhaust systems with cooling components for hot gasses, cleaning exhaust systems with filters (SCR, DCL, DPF), and structural systems for the hanging exhaust for boats up to 300 feet long. I able to calculate the heat transfer through hot piping and select the proper insulations on the same systems I calculated the maximum backpressure of each exhaust to select the right diameters. This marine industry is fully manufactured and requires drawings for machining, sheet metal, assemblies and others aspects such as bill of materials, databases, material cost. Besides, I also made HVAC projects for hotels and house using the HAP (Carrier) software for this purpose. I was involved in many refrigeration projects like walk in coolers, calculation the complete systems condensing units, evaporators, freon piping systems, expansion valves, dryers, visor glass and others components. I calculated the heat loading for every single cool room to select the refrigeration components. I have a lot of experience selling spare parts of multiples equipment and I was dealing with explode diagram from the suppliers. I projected and sold the complete lines of gastronomic equipment for hotels and other touristic places. I sold electric cars and its spare parts for golf installations. As general aspects I have been working on big project 2D and 3D with databases, I have been using the thermodynamics equations to determine the heat transfer, on the fluids matters I have been using Bernoulli law, continuity equations and others. I have generated more than ten spreadsheets in excel of accurate calculation of many parameters necessaries on the mechanical Industry. I’m able to use databased and nested database functions. I have worked as a manager for the last 15 years inside and outside the United States and very recently I began the study of six sigma certifications for the improvement of production processes.

Improvement of the design of the water flow test machine for testing diffusers (spray rings).

Created a new spray ring (Swirl tab diffuser) for the boats’ mixer tanks, improving the heat transfer between gasses and salt water.

I created the turbine diffuser to reduce labor and to replace the previous swirl tab diffuser.

Created the machine to punch the tabs on the swirl tab diffuser.

Created the spreadsheet to evaluate the due day of our work orders.
