While attending Mohawk College I learned an array of biology and chemicals skills including biochemistry, microbiology, and manufacturing skills like GMPs and HACCP. Some of the core skills I have for this position would be the extensive knowledge I have of aseptic technique, media formulation, and an extensive technical background with chemistry equipment. Microbiological and analytical chemistry are my strong suits in laboratory testing, which gives me familiarity when testing and fixing the laboratory equipment.

Volunteered as a judge for the BASEF science fair, specifically judging the physics category for grades 7-12. The judging process included accessing the projects, followed by an interview with the student and giving feedback related to their projects.

This position involved assisting in the production and sales of the berries at Pardo’s, while also helping around the farm with tasks, for example: laying and pulling irrigation pipes. Utilized a great deal of UTV and pulling trailers.
