Grew within the Kamine organization from Project Engineer to V.P. of European Operations in four years. Held overall responsibility for the green field development of over 100 MW of waste-to-energy facilities in Italy. Overseeing a staff of 25 professionals. Through effective business development and rights acquisitions, acquired control over 20 waste-to-energy projects ranging from 5-15MWe located throughout Italy, a significant player in the Italian waste-to-energy market. Strategically planned all aspects of the company from site selection, to personnel selection, training and development.

Achievements:

●Developed the technical specifications for the construction of waste-to-energy facilities ranging from 5-15 MWe.

●Closed the acquisition of 20+ power purchase agreements with the national utility, ENEL.

●Obtained the required real estate for the construction of the facilities.

●Implemented the opening of Kamine’s first and only international office, including the screening and hiring of the local staff.

●Succeeded in orchestrating Kamine’s exit from the Italian market exceeding its sale target.
