GET TO KNOW YOUR

FOUR HEALTH NUMBERS.

A biometric screening is all you need.

Why is a biometric screening important?

To get healthier, it’s important to know where you stand right now. A biometric screening can help you identify your health risks and set goals for improvement.

What does a biometric screening measure?

In addition to height and weight measurements,

biometric screenings assess your overall health using these four important indicators:

Blood pressure

Blood sugar

Cholesterol

Body mass index (BMI)

How can I prepare for my biometric

screening?

To get the most accurate results possible, follow these guidelines or the advice of your provider:

Don’t eat or drink anything except water, 9–12 hours before your screening.*

Drink at least two 8 oz. glasses of water the day of your screening. This will make sure you are hydrated.

Don’t exercise 12 hours before your screening.

If you’re on medication(s), continue to take them as prescribed.

Are you pregnant? Getting screened will not provide an accurate picture of your overall health. During the screening many of the biometrics measured are

temporarily affected. These are normal and expected changes. Only your doctor can truly interpret the risk or benefit within the context of your pregnancy.
