My responsibilities on this job were to read blueprints, cut material out according to blueprints, layout material out according to the blueprints (fabrication of material). Square unit after tacking all conners and then 100% weld all joints in all positions (1G 2G 3G 4G) positions using the Gas Metal Arc Welding process.

They prepare for a welding operation by cutting and shaping pipes using power saws, grinders, and other tools. They also use calipers, straightedges, and other tools to align and secure metal parts. The role of a pipe welder also involves conducting assessments to verify workpieces are free of defect and conform to set specifications.

Any gaps between employments are due to large layoffs due to work seasonal and them are dates I attended the local community college to further my education.
