On a daily basis I am constantly keeping up with the organization to ensure a nice, neat and clean work environment for everyone around me. I contact vendors for parts my maintenance team needs, and continue to follow up until I the parts in my hand. I will price match with 2-3 vendors to see where my most valuable “go to” vendor is in a time of need at a reasonable price to help the company. I keep inventory of all different parts that are needed to run a big manufacturing facility, to ensure we have the parts we need 99% of the time. My inventory is kept through a software program by the name of MP2. Also, purchasing items through a requisition process and receiving items are a big part of my job. Very hands on with every part that comes through the door, willing to answer questions about it and or cross-reference the part needed.
