Daily management of the Operations Department including up to 20 staff in Administration, Pre-Press, Pressroom, Post-Press departments on 3 shifts running 24 hours a day from Sunday night to Friday night. Played a major role in selection, installation and training for a major upgrade to Computer-to-Plate system.
Recently led the project to reduce the physical footprint of the Operations Department by 50%, selecting equipment to dispose of, arranging specialist help and equipment to move the main pressline within the factory and reset to manufacturers specs.
Operated heavy-duty forklifts in both 9,000 lb and 15,000 lb capacity while moving the machinery as mentioned above.
