As the ALICE Instructor for the campus, I worked closely with local and federal law enforcement developing response plans for critical events campus wide.

Responsible for many aspects of day-to-day security operations of large Critical Infrastructure facility in the energy and the chemical sectors. This role was the functional shift security supervisor, overseeing contract guard operations as well as being the Shell representative for events and incidents during nights, weekends, holidays, etc.

I was personally responsible for coordinating and monitoring the transition of an approximate 2000-person workforce to the TSA TWIC biometric credential as access control Identification and activation. I was recognized by Shell for this project.

2020-2021 Leading the security staff and support staffs through the daily changing challenges of the Covid-19 Pandemic.

2003-2006 Oversaw the physical security enhancements at the Shell Chemical (Shell Oil) refinery and deep-water terminal in Mobile, AL as part of some of the first DHS Grants released post 9/11

2007-2008 Oversaw and coordinated the adaptation of the TWIC card as the site employee access card and ID of approximately 2,200 Shell employees at Shell Deer Park Manufacturing Facility, a combined oil refinery and chemical plant. Received site recognition and award for successful project completion.

2010-2014 As a member of the AMSC / Port Security committee and Managing Board was involved in multiple DHS / Maritime grant reviews, working with local entities as applicants and also the state approval and fiduciary agent, at the time the Alabama Department of Homeland Security
