2013 – PRESENT

OPERATIONS MANAGER, FLYING FISH BREWERY, SOMERDALE, NJ

Increased automated Braukon brew house efficiency from 70 percent to 95 percent and increased brew yields by 20 percent.

Developed and managed beer order supply chain team of Brewers, Packaging team, Inventory, Quality Control and Maintenance personnel. By setting clear expectations for each role I was able to ensure that we met sales deadlines with quality product and took appropriate measures to retract unsatisfactory product.

Independently developed two new products (Seltzer, Hazy IPA) using industry knowledge of market and brewing trends that added value to the company’s product portfolio. These new products have gone on to be part of our core brands. Work continuously with the President on annual production planning, brand development and forecasting.

Successfully managed several projects including the installation of a new can line, meeting all deadlines and production expectations. Other ongoing projects include negotiation raw material contracts to ensure the brewery has all necessary supplies at the best market price and creation and management of the barrel program.

General responsibilities include the approval of brew and packaging schedules, Daily meeting with department managers, Annual reviews, Employee discipline and termination, Interview and hire new staff if needed.
