Managed and established a med-spa under the directorship of a physician medical director. Wrote standard operational procedures and complied with local and state requirements and statutes. Was responsible for attaining consent forms, kept patient charts updated. Administered injectables, such as Botox and Fillers, performed PDO Thread lift procedure, Platelet Rich Plasma with micro needling, Was additionally certified for Permanent Makeup, and all services performed. Practiced with clean procedures and followed up with patient education and aftercare instruction.

2012-TO 2014

MDS COORDINATOR, Cape Coral Rehab and Skilled Nursing Facility

Duties consisted of updating the care plans according to daily new orders, opening new assessments according to new admissions, attended morning meeting updates, handled manage care insurances and updates. Performed MDS 3.0, assessments, Medicare and PPS. Attended PPS meetings to confer with Physical Therapy Department, and Medicare meetings with interdisciplinary teams. It was my responsibility to assess residents for skilled nursing care, and meet monthly goals to have a minimum of unpaid days.

I updated and officiated over Resident Care Plan Meetings. Participated in staff instruction at orientation and monthly as required.

My goal was to keep time goals at the end of the month and to keep staff informed of patient and insurance status in order to prevent errors with other departments.

Served as Case Manager to home care patients, performing home evaluations for safety, formulating care plans, emergency plans, updating medication lists after discharge from acute facility, instructing on high risk medications, fall precautions and bleeding precautions. Performed wound-vac therapy, IV therapy, blood draws, catheter insertion, and trachea care. Skilled Assessments and observation are strong points.

Was able to fulfill 30 unit/week requirements beginning with Oasis Start of Care, routine visits, resumption of care and recertifications as indicated. Was able to turn in paperwork on time, maintaining good interoffice relationships, which is very important. Maintained professional relationships at any facility to which I was sent. Complied with corporate requirements.
