NETWORK OPERATIONS ENGINEERING MANAGER

Network Operations Engineering Manager for a Michigan based Cable, ISP/WISP / Fiber Ethernet provider, with headend and tower facilities located in Northern Mi. Responsible for day to day functionality of the complete network system including, all Headend and Tower locations and facilities, cable television channels with associated satellite receivers, modulators, combiners, amplifiers, transmitters, Fiber optic back-haul and transport nodes along with the coax plant. Frequency and Bandwidth spectrum allocations, Cisco CMTS programming, repair, upgrades, and optimization. Designing, maintaining and programming wireless point to point radio transmission links utilizing towers and repeaters, with multiple AP’s. Maintaining sectors, monitoring traffic levels and load balancing usage levels according to demand. Proficient knowledge in CIENA SaoS, Mikrotik RouterOS, and CISCO IOS programming, with emphasis on router IP

scheduling and network protocols.
