Additional Information
While at Veka Inc., I started and managed a program called Green Team. I would volunteer to meet monthly with a handful of colleagues who were also interested in saving the company time, resources, and money. We would brainstorm ideas and policies to implement, and would then present those ideas to management, who may then approve the ideas or policies. One of my approved ideas was a device I manufactured to collect vinyl hole punches from the production line. Originally the punches would litter the floor until a staff member would sweep them up and dispose of them. My devices collected the punches to be re-used to make more vinyl product.
