I currently work as an Intake Demos Coordinator. My role is to setup patient accounts in our BT system, where I would then verify the patient’s demographics and insurance. Then I would move on to create a sales order for there incontinence supply or DME request. If needed I would make calls to the MD office or insurance to verify client eligibility for the item being requested. Health Information Specialist

I worked in the Medical Records Department for 15 years . I screened patients through our EMR programs Onbase and EPIC. I also scanned and indexed documents into the patient’s records. I answered Release of information calls for that department which helps patients, doctor’s office’s or law offices get the information they need to proceed with the matters @ hand. This is all handled under the HIPPA guidelines and regulations.
