As the Netbackup Administrator I was responsible for the defining of the incremental and full backups of over 500 servers in a mixed environment of AIX, Solaris and Windows Servers. I upgraded 200 Microsoft Windows 2000 servers to Netbackup 5.1 MP4 from Netbackup 4.5. I ensured connectivity and successful completion of the backups. Preformed remedial processing of failed jobs. I scheduled backups to be used in Disaster Recovery procedures. Updated the remote Disaster Recovery procedures to reflect the Netbackup 5.1 environment. This included performing the backups, inventorying the tapes, Shipping the tapes, Inventory at the Disaster Recovery Site and ensuring data integrity at the Disaster Recovery Site. I maintained the tape pools associated with the Netbackup servers. One environment had a master and one media server. The other environment had the master with 2 clusters. 2 windows media servers, 2 AIX servers and 1 Exchange server in the media server pool.
