Senior Design and Development Projects include:

Developed a hardened Span Powered Remote DSLAM product line (Fastmux Model 2004).

The development timeline was critical. I had the product ready for deployment in a matter of months.

The span powered system was designed to transport ATM data from incoming quad T1s to 24 port ADSL interfaces.

Designed the Flex Access ADSL/POTS product line. Managed a team of engineers, which consisted of three hardware and two firmware engineers. We were responsible for the development of five products as part of the overall system. The system was designed to extend ADSL and POTS services from a Central Office to rural areas of the country using G.shdsl technology.

Developed the Hytas ADSL product line. This product line was designed and manufactured / OEM to Kommunikation-Elektronik for deployment into Deutsche Telekom and other European countries.

Project management duties include developing schedules, meeting with customers, managing the engineers and working to resolve problems.

Senior Design Engineer duties - Product Specifications, PCB layout, functionality and qualification testing.

Worked in a team environment to develop the company’s FASTmux Mini-DSLAM. Responsibilities included the ADSL Hardware Design and implementing the IMA functionality of the FASTmux Mini-DSLAM. Also was responsible for assuring that the products meet ANSI and ETSI specifications.

Developed automated Artificial Line Test capabilities, which incorporated a HP Broadband Series Test Set, ATM Switch, and the Artificial Line Simulator. The software design utilized a Windows based Interface developed in Borland Builder C++ to integrate all the existing equipment.

Designed Craft Interface Application Software using C/C++ to allow the installer to interface with, setup and maintain the equipment.
