Engineering

Answer directly to the Senior Engineer. Responsible for: mechanical design, electromechanical integration. Prototype design and construction based on sales dept. requests for products (including custom milling.) Cost cutting product redesign. Design and fabrication of test interfaces for electronic PWBs. Design and fabricate wire harness assemblies. Modify equipment for testing of new products. Create and modify production drawings and service manuals for products. (CorelDraw12) Troubleshoot electronic assemblies to the component level.

Machine Maintenance Technician

Solely responsible for 2nd shift maintenance and repair of appx. 80 CNC lathes and mills, Mori Seiki, HAAS, OKK, Tsugami, Hardinge, and Okuma in a fast paced production environment. Duties included: troubleshoot and repair all mechanical, electrical, electronic, servo, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. Read electrical, electronic, and mechanical diagrams and drawings, interpret each, and identify and request parts and components to facilitate repairs.

-Received the Excellence Award for solving a machine problem, which was later implemented as a solution by the engineering staff of the machine manufacturer.

(Formerly ATP Intellitec) Quality Assurance Final Inspector

Performed final inspections to military specifications on a variety of Chem/Bio detection and protection systems, composite aircraft parts, and weapons platforms. Assisted engineering department with assembly and troubleshooting RTM control system.

After 9-11, Accounted for one of 3 persons world wide, with the authority and training to present to the government, the only production biological weapons detector in existence for final buy-off. These units were utilized to protect the Capitol and White House in the tense times directly after 9-11 from biological attack. The system was also utilized for high profile events such as the Super bowl, and New Years Eve celebrations.
