Export Pricing Analyst, Transpacific Westbound Trade November 2021 - Present

Pricing export containers from Canada, the United States and the Caribbean to the Far East/Asia Subcontinent. Experience with dry cargo, reefers, iso tanks, shipper owned equipment, specialized products, high volume, low volume, exempt and non-exempt materials. Responding to inquiries and tenders in a timely fashion. Working with Logistics and Sales to create a tailored pricing approach for each tender and customer we try to bring onboard. Sorting large email volumes by trade lane and analysts depending on work volume. Reviewing quarterly rate guidelines and adjusting by market performance and indications to maximize lift. Use Xlookup, Vlookup, Indexmatch formulas, weeknum formulas, conditional formatting, pivot tables, power query and various other excel tools to expedite analysis and interpretation of large data sets. Clear communication via phone, email and TEAMs platforms. Maintaining response times in all KPIs set by management. Working closely with management to strategize for bids and bringing on new services. Created SOPs on uploading tariffs, basic trade responsibilities to standardize the process and as a reference for new employees. Streamlined processes of uploading tariffs, adding to large rate sheets and to checking hundreds of lines of data against minimum requirements for pricing.
