Warehouse Associate/Team Leader
McLane - Foodservice - Tracy, CA
June 2015 to July 2017
As a team lead, I had multiple duties that involved hands on or on the computer. I would run the morning meetings for the selectors, If the supervisors were busy, if any potential candidates were interested, I would take them on a question and answer tour of the warehouse when they’re interview was completed. I would assist in any department that needed help whether it was transportation or customer service along with the warehouse freezer team, refrigerator team or dry team (case selectors), our heart of the operation.
Training of new hires

GMP, QCP, SAP, Selector Pro and zebra printer knowledgeable Warehouse Associate/Selector, loader, replenisher, receiver McLane - Foodservice - Tracy, CA
April 2002 to June 2015
As a selector for Mclane, we had five departments freezer, refrigerator, dry, fresh chicken, and smallwears chemicals. Depending on where you are placed or what bid you had. I was accurately selecting case orders for 10 hours a day using the high-tech failproof selector pro and a single pallet jack. The concepts we have are A&W, KFC, Pizza Hut, Long John Silver’s, and Buffalo wild wings along with Denny’s. The pallets were no more than 80 cube, and the lowest being 30 cubed with multiple stops per order. We would pick the order and drop it off at the proper door for loading. As a replenisher I would get a report for the first half of the day and with my reach lift and the RF system telling me what location to pull from I would use the first in first out rule as I would go about my day first filling up the zero quantity pick locations. There after I would team up with the other replenisher that would finish off the night, I would start doing cleanup by cutting and pulling shrink wrap if needed along with using the forklift to pick empty pallets out of the pic locations. As a loader I would load the pallets, the teammates bring by compartment using bulkheads inside the trailers while doing this. I was making sure the route number belongs to the correct trailer along side of verifying the trailer is good to be loaded. When I had the loading job, I made sure I was efficiently, correctly, most importantly not damaging any product. As a receiver, the receiving office will let us know what doors outside carriers are in to be unloaded. As we were unloading the trailers and if it was temperature sensitive, we would take a total of nine temperatures from the top, middle and bottom of the pallet from the rear, the middle, and the nose of the trailer to make sure they are in compliant and food safety GMPs are in place. After verification with RF units, we would scan the product enter in expiration date if needed, enter the quantity and print out receiving labels.
