•Spent a day at Creighton Medical School shadowing M1/M2 students in preclinical years

•Learned how to stop severe bleeding in cases of emergency and practiced on dummies

RESEARCH & PROJECTS

Science Fair: Germination with distinct types of water, 2021

•Collected four different types of water (pool, tap, brine, rain) and conducted an experiment that evaluated each one’s effect on the growth of green mung seeds

•Analyzed the various growth rates to create a solution to the global shortage of freshwater and suggested a plan to effectively utilize aquatic resources

•Formulated results into a PowerPoint and presented findings to judges

•Exercised research and analytical skills

•Demonstrates interest in environmental conservation and protection

Science Fair: The psychological effects of online school on sixth graders

•Collaborated with a psychologist to create surveys that followed HIPPA guidelines and evaluated the social and mental effects of online school on sixth graders

•Analyzed survey data to come to a conclusion about the familial, mental, and social changes in sixth graders

•Educated teachers and parents on the mental struggles of their students
