I spent 49 years in the utility industry at Niagara Mohawk/National Grid . I have complete knowledge of transmission and distribution circuits and construction standards.

I am an expert in Clearance and Control Procedures and have a working knowledge of grounding rules and requirements. I progressed to Lead Chief Line Mechanic/Hotstick Often placed on large scale projects that included the training of apprentice linemen for transmission and distribution line construction. I was responsible for day to day training of apprentice linemen mixed in with regular crews. I was upgraded to Supervisor to fill in during vacations and work load.

REPRESENTATIVE EXPERIENCE

I have 49 years’ experience in the electric utility distribution industry as a Lineman, Chief Line Mechanic/Hotstick. During my career I oversaw or participated in countless Distribution construction projects. I also have extensive experience in troubleshooting for T&D. I have a proven ability to work effectively with contractors and engineers to successfully construct, inspect and oversee T&D construction projects. Since 2014 I have been employed by numerous companies as a Distribution construction manager and supervisor, My experience being a Lineman has made it easy to communicate with field crews . I have proven with my experience with project management that I can speak to engineering and procurement personnel to get a project done safely and efficiently

TRC Solutions, Oconnell Electric,East Coast Energy Consultants – (Field Construction Coordinator/ Supervisor: 2014 – Present)

I was responsible for coordinating and submitting Transmission Outage Applications for outage and NRA’s for work on National Grid transmission structures for New York state with various cellular equipment repairs and installations. It was my responsibility to arrange outages and contractors to complete the work with onsite oversite of the project.

I was also an Construction Supervisor for the removal of retired structures on Line 105 through TRC for National Grid. I have served as the Construction Supervisor in the Project Management and complex Construction Department in charge of contractors working on National Grid transmission and distribution projects. I was responsible for arranging TOA’s and directing switching while overseeing the contractor following National Grid’s Safety Rules. . I also oversaw the rebuild of 7 miles of 69 KV transmission and construction of 9 miles of 139KV transmission.

2017, I was an Field Construction Supervisor through TRC for RG&E in the construction of a 115KV underground transmission line in the city of Rochester.

2018 I was responsible for overseeing construction on cellular upgrades on National Grid structures for the outdoor lighting and attachments. I also was FCS for the Transmission Maintenance department overseeing right of way maintenance and repair also overseeing painting of transmission structures.

2019 I was FIELD CONSTRUCTION SUPERVISOR with on site oversight for maintenance on National Grid distribution lines in the Buffalo NY area..

2019 after completion of contract for National Grid I was employed by Oconnell Electric as a Transmission and Distribution .construction supervisor.

2020 Transmission Construction Supervisor contracted to National Grid transmission line maintenance through East Coast Energy Consultants with oversite responsibilities of multiple crews doing tower maintenance on 230KV and 115 KV with daily Clearances and Non Reclose assurances. I have completed the Clearance and Control Refresher for 2020/2021

2020/2021/Transmission & Distribution Construction supv. In charge of contractor transmission and distribution maintenance program Western Division. Transmission and distribution Construction Supervisor for Oconnell electric. I had oversight for tline construction with responsibility for completion of inspection reports for substation construction for BES Big Tree Rd submitted to Avangrid in Orchard Park NY.

. 2022 contracted to National Grid transmission line maintenance department through East Coast Energy Consultants. Oversite and planning for transmission line structure painting.

I retired from National Grid in the fall of 2013 and have been involved with project management since then
