I was required to supervisor 6 different lines, make sure that production was not only being met but quality parts were being made. Evaluations on the employees were done in a timely matter, disciplinary actions were taken not only in my department but other departments as needed, and terminations as required. I had weekly safety audits, weekly quality audits, and daily first pieces to check and log. As part of the safety committee I also had to monthly audits in the plant and record and report any safety violations. I was required to train new employees and ensure that they were not only following procedure but also making sure that the quality was correct. I was also required to launch new lines as needed.
