• Do a walk around check for any potential hazards and everything that's out of the ordinary.
• Turn on the dryer and And fill out a dryer log report.
• When the dryer bed reaches the Correct temperature. I press the button which turns on the conveyor belts and screener.
• Every hour I check on the salt thats Being sifted and separated by the screener and into 4 different bins. • Every hour I take moisture reading samples on the salt from the bins to check the quality of the salt. • Maintenance towards the conveyor belts, motors and screener systems when needed.
• FRONT END LOADER OPERATOR:
• Start of shift: Do a walk around and check for any Dents busted hoses lack of oil's, coolant, fuel and Grease. Write everything down on a Loader log report/checklist before I hop in and drive off.
• Maintain the outside hopper and 4 more hoppers filled with salt through out the shift.
• Also, Load up every bulk truck that comes in with salt.
• At the end of my shift, fill up the Loader with fuel. On the same report/checklist, write down total hrs used and wash the outside of the Loader.
