Work Experience

Independent Contractor - Entertainer

Various Locations

November 2011 to Present

As an entertainer, it is my duty to make the crowd feel special, to grasp their attention and to keep the drink sales rolling. I show up, ready to work, dressed my best staying busy and up beat. I use flattering techniques that initiate interest and learn what I can about the customers with fun conversation.

Barista/Cashier

Starbucks - Charlotte, NC

February 2018 to November 2019

The day typically begins with some prep work of making sure everything is stocked, brewing the coffee, cleaning tables and checking on bathrooms. We order food and drinks for customers, either prepare them our selves or someone who is placed in that area will do so. Making the drinks is the most complicated part to remember but after a couple of months of being on the bar, it becomes second nature. We all had to watch a video on the form of how to multitask making coffees and we all try our best to practice that form. Through out the day we all make customers feel at home (hopefully) while preparing their order during rushes and through slow times. Cleaning is a huge part of our daily cycles. More than drinks, we clean deep into the crevasses, other the counters and doors and all throughout our backroom; including refrigerators, walls, dishes, moping and much more. Server/Bartender

AMF Centennial Lanes - Charlotte, NC

April 2017 to January 2018

United States

As a lane server my duties are to clean furniture and menus, vacuum the halls and checked bathrooms; I introduce myself to the customers as they arrive to their lanes, take their orders, bring the items as soon as possible and check on them in a timely manor; as well, create and close tabs, bus tables and let the customers know of my appreciation for them!

As a Bartender I make sure all the liquors/liqueurs, beers, wines, mixes, garnishes, glasses and cleaning supplies are stocked and count my drawer. I greet customers as they come to the bar and offer the daily specials, make and serve their drinks and/or food, keep their cards if they keep tabs open, pay for their orders/close their tabs and let them know to come back anytime! Mean while, I keep counters clean, beers

counted, mark stickers on empty liqueur bottles before throwing them out, washing glasses and restocking them, adding in credit card tips and then finishing the night by vacuuming the bar area, moping, cleaning the beer catcher, making sure all dishes are done, throwing out the trash and helping the staff with remaining chores.

Ticket Taker, Casheir and Server

Raleighwood - Raleigh, NC

January 2011 to December 2011

27615

As a ticket taker and cashier, I would begin with counting the drawer, then cleaning the bathrooms, cleaning the windows/doors, vacuuming the front of the house and then greeting customers when giving them their tickets. At then end of the night I would clean the bathrooms and count the register again. Lastly I would lock up the ticket booth.

Us servers would begin with food and condiment prep, making sure the seats and counters were clean and set up, then met our customers for their orders when they got seated. After putting their orders in we would get their drinks first, then their food and if I had time, in between, I would help run my co- workers orders. Through out the motion picture, I would make sure my customers had what they needed and buss without interrupting the movie. By the end of the film payments would be processed and at the credits we cleaned quickly and efficiently for the next showing. Hostess

rotation and the customers preference. Through out the night or day I would help buss tables and fill waters as well as keep track of the wait list. Before leaving I would wipe down menus again, make sure the rotation is on
