Grew a small fishing lure company from humble, local beginning to a global, industry leading supplier eclipsing $15mm in annual sales.
ENTREPRENEUR HIGHLIGHTS
Secured and sold minority ownership in Southern Plastics and grew that organization from a small, regional lure supplier to the world’s largest supplier of soft plastic fishing lures

Administered the expansion of the plant from 40,000 sq feet to 80,000 sq feet
Integrated 3 shifts allowing 24-hour production and grew team from 50 to over 320 FTEs
Implement Continuous Process Improvement (CPI) procedures and Lean Manufacturing fundamentals
Create Quality Control procedures reducing reject factors by 10% and utilizing byproduct absorption decreasing overall plant waste and increasing raw material efficiencies
Streamline production lines as technology upgrades became available
Created and supervise safety program by working with OSEA, Safe State and other local safety councils
Supervise facility maintenance and capital improvement projects
Maintain Premium Supplier Status at all chain outdoor retail stores
