Reusable Radiofrequency Electrode Fall 2021-Spring 2022

Designing an RF hub using Computer-Aided Design (CAD) modeling. The RF hub served as a crucial component in the electrode's overall structure and functionality. By leveraging CAD software, I was able to create a detailed and precise model of the hub, considering factors such as dimensions, material properties, and manufacturing constraints. This enabled us to visualize the electrode's assembly and ensure proper integration with other components.

To validate the design and enhance the electrode's performance, we employed finite element analysis (FEA) techniques. Through FEA, we simulated stress and strain distributions within the electrode under various operating conditions. By subjecting the model to different load scenarios, we could identify areas of high stress concentration and potential failure points. This analysis allowed us to optimize the electrode's design, reinforcing critical regions and improving overall structural integrity. As a result, we were able to enhance the electrode's resistance to mechanical stresses and increase its lifespan.
