Provide family practice care to employees and their spouses for minor illnesses & injuries (non work related (bronchitis, sinusitis, GI issues, Influenza, inner and outer ear infections, rashes/lesions, burns, foreign body removal, suturing, I&D’s, etc.). Refill medications for short duration until patient could follow up with PCP. Order appropriate labs, test, and radiology request. Conduct Health Fair clinics and educate employees and spouses regarding healthy lifestyle choices.

APRIL 2013– MAY 2014

NURSE PRACTITIONER, MINUTE CLINIC (FULL-TIME)

Retail Healthcare Clinic: Assess and treat acute illnesses and musculoskeletal injuries. Provide immunizations to children and adults. Provide wound care for minor injuries.

Perform school, sports and DOT (Department of Transportation) physical examinations. Provide patient education, including smoking cessation and weight loss programs. Market retail clinic in local area, order clinic supplies, maintain operation of equipment; perform testing/controls.
