State of Florida, Department of Agriculture — Environmental Specialist April, 2022- PRESENT

Inspect approximately 500 traps weekly for exotic fruit flies that pose an economic threat to the agriculture of Florida. Relocate traps to new host trees and non-host trees every three months.

Maintain logs of all routes, trap lines and types of traps in E-TRAP. Manage accurate and timely documentation and paperwork.

Draw and update maps for locating traps; enter all data from each trapping site into daily logs, E-TRAP as well as computer log in PITR. Improved accuracy of GPS by 10% on E-Trap App. Promote recycling and overall sustainability in the office and in the field.

Provide a high level of service and safety for residents by responding with accurate information regarding the fruit fly detection program.

Neris LLC Remote — Disaster Recovery Specialist May, 2019- July, 2022

Reviewed GIS Maps for each environmental resource impact evaluation. Reviewed Federal and State databases for potential impacts by nearby properties that have the potential for or have experienced toxic / hazardous releases. Prepared proposals, estimates and sketches for clients prior to mural projects.

Completed over 400 National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) compliant Tier II Environmental Reviews for Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Community Development Block Grant – Disaster recovery (CDBG-DR) funded housing projects in response to Hurricane Irma.
