Manage our corporate credit cards from applications to end-of-month closing of transactions financial coding. Use extracts from JDE to update financial codes and their dependencies into our bank website. Enter cash receipts on a daily basis. Locates Coordinator

CAPITAL ELECTRIC - Kansas City, MO

March 2003 to October 2006

Locates - all underground utilities have to be done where any type of digging or grading might be done. There are state laws for keeping the markings updated during a project. Being in Kansas City I had both Kansas and Missouri regulations to follow. When I started everything was on paper. I designed a data system to keep track and manage all of our locates. Actions needed displayed every morning. After I left Capital, my assistant took over. That year he was recognized at an annual banquet for outstanding employees. He received cash and stock for the Locates program. Database Developer

Sprint Directories - Overland Park, KS

April 1988 to August 1992

Various programs to eliminate slowdowns in work processes. In 1992 I left Sprint to contract for several clients. I worked at home until 1999. I went to work for Capital Electric in 1999 until moving to PAR Electric Contractors. At each of these positions I developed data systems for various clients, departments and/ or divisions. Sometimes the need for a system was requested by the department. Once I was in an office again, I could save employee time by developing a system to cut time and create more accurate results.
