Been in the roof trade for over 30 years. Started out with the union Local 96 doing commercial built up tar roofs, all single ply EPDM rubber, TPO, etc. Installed for 8+ years with the Local 96 before getting into sales.

I Have been in sales for over 25 years specializing in Insurance Restoration. I gained the status of GAF Master Elite. Owens Corning Prefered, Certanteed Elite . I am well versed in Acculynx, Xactimate, Roofr, Eagle Veiw, Hover, and many more of the kind. I am certified with Firestone Single Ply, Genflex, Dorolast, John's Manvill, Tamco Low Slope, TPO, PVC, Mule Hide, Carlisle, Alcoa Metal Roofing, Genflex, GAF low slope, SBS Modified, Built Up hot tar astm, Owens Corning, Certainteed. You could say all Residential Roofing as well all single ply commercial and built up roofing products, Installed for 8 years with the local 96 union before getting into sales. On a more personal note, maybe unprofessional language in a resume but where else to put it than my introduction to a company? What I am looking for in a company is to be treated fairly for the knowledge I bring to the company. My ENTIRE LIFE has been more or less about the Roofing Trade. I have more knowledge than I know what to do with and I have about ten years left to teach what I know before the profession as I know it, changes forever. I am too old to start another company and none of my children have a desire to do what I do. I am a Monday-Saturday 9:00 am - 8:00 pm guy. There is some technology that I am a little slow picking up but my girlfriend is much younger and has a four year degree in business that helps keep me organized and up to date in regards to the paperwork, take care of the paperwork needed to keep organized that allows me to do what I know best and sell more for a bigger profit one a job, I like to look customers in the eye. I always find every leak. I can tell whats wrong with a roof from a glance. I’m more than happy mentor anyone who needs to know anything about the Residential or Commercial Trade as a whole. . But at this point of life age and physically working on roofs for a good part of my life I can't do the laor part of roofing anymore to the standard I'm use to doing, so I can give 100% of myself to sales and I do very well in that feild of work pluss the pay is much better. Don't get me wrong I still go on every roof I go to so I can give a honest answer to a customer in regards to if there's enough damage to warrant a new roof. I found being strait up with a home owner rather telling them there's damage that is not there pays off in the end after you meet an adjuster and he denies the claim. All you get is 2

a pissed off homeowner as well an adjuster who you will see again and they don't forget you. I have a very good relationship with adjusters over the years and I give them respect by not arguing with them on something that ain't there. I get more roofs bought just on that alone because they all keep notes.
