·Run regular Vendor Replenishment Process to determine the supply needed by items by DC.
·Review / manage purchasing variables such as Forecast, Lead Time, Demand, Sales Trends, Minimum / Economic Order Quantity, Freight, Vendor’s Info, Special Instructions, Drop-ships and other key variables to determine purchases quantities by vendors by items by DC.
·Place POs to vendors via EDI, Email, or Fax and obtain purchase order acknowledgement
·Manage Estimate Date of Arrival (ETA) and maintain system info with most current data
·Expedite shortage supply working proactively with vendors to minimize any sales impact
