I worked at Amazon Fulfillment Warehouse for 4 years every summer. During my time working for Amazon I learned a lot of skills such as social, listening, and learning. My position was "Warehouse Associate" and my duties were: 1. unloading boxes/packages 2. Checking items in each box making sure they're not damaged 3. Scanning/receiving items 4. Shipping them off 5. Depending on what box/package I would sometimes have to sort the items and the sorting station. I was also granted another opportunity to become a problem solver at Amazon. The duties for a problem solver is to make sure everyone boxes are right and don't have any problems or issues with them. Like if people needed certain types of stickers or needed help at their station I would be the one that asked to help with any issue.

Being my first year working at Kohl’s Distribution center I have truly become a great prospect at work. I’ve shown my hard work, dedication, passion, and drive to become this powerhouse worker. My job title at DAL3 is important because I’m an AM (Area Manager) job whose duties consist of having a team of 30+ associates that I supervise. Making sure I’m creating a safe and fun environment for my associates, making sure they have the proper tools and resources they need to work and to make it a safe work environment. Meeting numbers which means making volume and also coaching my associates on quality defects. Keeping track of their TOT (Time Off Task), showing and coaching associates on stowing methods.
