Middle East (UAE, Oman & Kuwait) for 19 years and India for 7 years. Currently, I am working in WORLEY ENGINEERING (P) LTD., UAE., BOROUGE – 4 PROJECT (Polyolefin Complex) as a Civil/Structural Superintendent.

I have completed a Diploma in Civil Engineering in 1997 and I have the strong technical knowledge and leadership skills, with extensive job background and experiences in the management, administration, and implementation of Construction Management Systems, Permit to Work Systems, and various construction fields, particularly in oil & gas and confident that I can effectively and efficiently carry out the given tasks to the satisfaction of my superiors.

Main Responsibilities/Job Function

Responsible and accountable to review, comment, and approve construction execution and related procedure specifications, and deliverables prepared by the EPC-1 CONTRACTOR.

Responsible for site engineering activities and providing technical assistance to the construction supervision team.

Visibility to the team during the detailed design and engineering phase to influence the technical decisions to better achieve flawless construction execution and transition to commissioning.

Working effectively within established procedures and participating in all important meetings and workshops (e.g., weekly, and monthly meetings, 3D Model reviews, Constructability, Construction, and Completion Sequence Reviews).

Assist in the resolution of technical queries arising on site.

Leadership and “work as a team” behavior and attitude towards EPC-1 CONTRACTOR as its Subcontractors to achieve Project objectives.

Supervises vendor representatives’ site unit for check out / pre-commissioning of equipment and any other special testing or maintenance requirements.

Perform multiple locations team environment with high expectations for flawless Project Execution in safety, quality, cost, and schedule performances, which require the incumbent to demonstrate, cap the city to take workload, work with accuracy, take initiative, and be inventive and have the ability to multitask.

Conduct and lead a System Mechanical Completion & Pre-Startup Safety Review Walk down.

Strong ability to influence others who are not in his direct control to achieve Project objectives.

Perform other duties as assigned by the Head Construction Superintendent or Construction Division Manager

Ensure assigned work is managed and delivered to CLIENT satisfaction.

Enhance and demonstrate commitment to raising HSE standards and proposing new initiatives or improvements.

Dealing with ad-hoc requests related to project operational and project logistics activities.

Monitor and review construction-related documentation originated by the EPC Contractor

Provide technical assistance to the construction supervision team.

Assist in the resolution of field construction queries interfacing with engineering and completions.

Be inventive in bringing technical and execution solutions that favor safe construction execution and transition to commissioning activities.

Facilitate periodic meetings with the PMT and contractors as necessary.

Monitor, appraise, and report to CLIENT on quality and safety construction performed by the EPC Contractor and their Subcontractors / Vendors

To read, understand and implement the company safety policy and the arrangements described in the company and area safety management documents Review project studies & proposals for Constructability and/or Construction Hazard Identification.
