Re: Claude Fletcher
To whom it may concern:
Claude Fletcher was employed by SIGMA Corporation, 316 S. Bon View Ave., Ontario, Ca. from 2004 to 2008.
SIGMA is a manufacturer and importer of waterworks fittings, municipal castings, and related items. The Ontario distribution facility at time of Claude’s employment was a 6.5 acre outside yard (since moved to an inside facility).
Claude’s position/title was Supervisor, Receiving Department.
Claude's duties included coordinating the movement/receipt of up to 200 containers per month, working closely with the drayage firm to ensure timely receipt of goods.
Inventory accuracy, including cycle counts, were included in the Receiving Department’s list of responsibilities.
Claude, with his team, was also responsible for yard cleanliness in accordance with the Storm Water Pollution Prevention Program.
As a supervisor, Claude was adept at leading by example; his punctuality, attendance, and accuracy were “above par". I would recommend Mr. Fletcher for any position feels qualified to apply.
If I may answer any questions, please do not hesitate to call.
Sincerely,
SIGMA Corp. Operations Manager (retired)
