The project I worked on was retrofitting a full-size bulldozer (D7G) for remote control. The overall goal was to achieve full autonomous control and to develop kits for other vehicles (mostly military). Worked with the Joint Project Office (JPO) primarily for clearing land mines without risking soldier’s lives.

Responsible for overseeing the development, testing, and bug tracking of software during a full development cycle of a Robotic Kit to be delivered to the customer.

Worked closely with software engineers during the full development cycle.

Wrote custom bug tracking database using Microsoft Access and Visual Basic.

Used ADACast for unit testing.

Wrote lines of code metrics using Perl.

Wrote test plan for hardware/software integration.

Outlined plan during PDR, and further demonstrated plan during CDR.

Designed break-out box to simulate cable breakage.
