JOB Responsibilities

Serving as an Analyst in SOC operations for real-time monitoring, analyzing logs from various security devices.

●Health check of all servers and security consoles (SIEM, Firewall, EDR, Proxy and other Security Devices)

●Monitor and analyze security events with SIEM and other security consoles for suspicious traffic and differentiate false positives from true intrusion attempts.

●Carrying out log monitoring and incident analysis from various devices like Firewalls, IPS, IDS, EDR and so forth.

●Identify the false alerts/events and suggesting for fine-tuning of the alerts if required.

●Communicate with internal & external team to resolve the queries relating to the raised incidents.

●Basic troubleshooting of not reporting network/security devices as per the SOP.

●Validating the incidents to add missing analysis to improve the quality of tickets.

●Follow- up with team till resolution of the open tickets/issues.

●Performing Vulnerability Assessment scans, reports and ensure timely remediation of identified vulnerability.

●Preparing daily, weekly, monthly and traffic analysis report as per SOP.

●Perform all tasks including reporting, monitoring, and troubleshooting.

●Working on Incidents as well as service requests at a time by continuous monitoring with SPLUNK.

●Blocking the MD5, SHA value in EDR. Prior to the investigation on threat found alerts by CISCO AMP/Trend Micro in user system.

●Blocking the malicious URL in Cisco Umbrella.
