Qualifications
Conduct a thorough assessment of client needs and make recommendations to help meet them. A trained, self-identifying peer of the individual seeking support, who can passionately engage with peers in a community-based recovery center, or outside it around any number of activities, or over the telephone as well. Dedicated to working with individuals as they develop and implement a personal recovery plan, which can also serve as a contract for engagement. Proficient communication skills, verbal and written, and easily maintain positive working relationships and heightens productivity. Possess thorough understanding of client behaviors, program guidelines, and methods of intervention.
