POSITION: FIELD REVIEWER/CHART AUDITS

Responsibilities Include;

Medical chart review, remote coding, coding audits for ICD-10/ICD-9, CPT-PCS- HCPCS Coding. Projects for both, HEDIS and PIA (Payment Integrity Audit). Remote and Travel assignments are assigned by company, by means of private virtual desktop encrypted and secured internet. Medical records are viewed for coding audits, or record retrieval which is abstracted and documented on paper tool (provided by the company) then it is scanned or remotely recorded back to company-health plan. While some travel is recommended, it is nationwide to various Hospitals and Clinics, to retrieve certain patient medical record documents, which are abstracted or coded from Paper Charts or EMR (Electronic Medical Records), being requested from the health plan.

HIPPA and PHI compliant with ongoing training and updated health information, policies and procedures with coding rules/guidelines mandated. Once all information has been obtained, the site is then completed. Most current to past 10 years:
