About: I am a Globetrotter & Technocrat with experiences spanning 36 years in Oil & Gas Global Giants, Power, Paper, Aluminum Plants and Material handling Facilities & Civil Engineering infrastructure sectors . I help EPC companies in these sectors to increase their profitability through strategic planning, Tendering & Costing, Engineering Design and Techno-Commercial alignment . I have mostly worked with Operating Oil Companies, Engineering Consultants and EPC Contractors covering all sides of Construction for Major Engineering Project . I have completed many Projects from Conception till Commissioning spanning the project more than 4 years and costing more than 2.5 Billion USD

I have also taught few Industry oriented courses to Elderly working professionals in few Universities of UK at their off campus unit . Project Execution with Engineering Verification

Fujairah pipeline is a 182 kilometres long 24 inches (610 mm) natural gas pipeline with capacity of 20 billion cubic metres (710 billion cubic feet) of natural gas per year. This pipeline is used for a regular natural gas export from Qatar to Oman. This project has few Compressor stations, Metering stations, Pipeline installation with Sacrificial anode type Cathodic Protection system, Pig launching and Receiving Units. My role was right from Tendering, Contract negotiation, Engineering Quality Control and Project Execution .

6.Qatar Petroleum, Doha; Project Leader Civil / Structural Project Engineer for the largest sea port in the world; Feb 2002 - Jul 2011

Project (Sea Port EPIC phase worth USD 1.8 Billion) in Qatar and Gas Plant ( NGL ) with Table Top Compressors and 175 m high Flare stack .

Sea Port Project main features were Liquid Product berth and jetty construction with loading arms supported on Metering Platform structure, Almost 6 km. long RC pipe rack, Steel Pipe Bridge for crossings, Primary Substation and secondary substations, Administrative Building, Workshop with 20t EOT crane, Fire Station, Long span Fabric roof Canopy structure for port traffics inflow and outflow control including scanning arrangement @ Port Gate, 70 m high Telecom towers etc.

Addition of a Propane Refrigeration Unit, Mitigation of NGL Plant Flares with project value of USD 310 million

Worked for a LNG Plant in Bonny Island of Nigeria at FEED stage as Senior Principal Engineer. Steel Pipe Racks and Steel framed Admin Building.

8.Tebodin Middle East Ltd, Abu Dhabi; Lead Civil / Structural Engineer; May 1999 - Dec 2001

As a Lead Structural Engineer - supervised 100 team members working for the USD 180 million Tissue Paper mill project in Abu Dhabi from conception till commissioning

As a Lead Engineer for sweet and sour gas compressor Package in Mubarraz island for ADOC

Seconded from Tebodin in DUGAS plant as a problem shooter to provide solution for excessive oscillation of a 46m.high incinerator steel stack in sulphur recovery unit, structural modification in Catophene Reactor structure of MTBE plant, cellar deck of offshore main compressor platform and Fateh field – Dubai.

Advised any structural steel related issue within department as a problem shooter.

Set up a New Steel structural Design standards and to establish procedures for design of steel structures with hot rolled sections and assist a complete engineering team of Pre Engineered Buildings.

Main projects included Jebel Ali port wash rack facility, multi storied steel framed shopping malls deck slab, large span warehouses with storage facility, and labour camp steel building with metal deck arrangement
