HVAC sheet metal installer/ Journeyman

Responsibilities:

Install duct work on commercial construction sites.

Onsite fabrication (If, and when necessary), and assemble duct work to be installed.

Practiced in all safety rules to maintain a safe working environment: Hard hat, Safety glasses, protective gloves, ladder safety, and ear protection.

Operated scissor lifts (Battery, and Gas operated), to install supply, return, and exhaust ductwork, and electronic vat’s.

Obtained my certification to operate a Ramset gun, used for hanging straps for hanging all related duct work, and HVAC related equipment.

Use of blueprints as a guide to install HVAC equipment, and duct work.

Sheet metal installer/Journeyman CLP’s client I worked with: BTS Heating and Cooling.

Responsibilities:

Worked on the new school in Gilbert, AZ project.

Responsibilities:

Install Duct work on Commercial projects.

Fabricate, and assemble duct work for various commercial projects.

Learned how to drive a forklift (Novice, Gas operated).

Drove their trucks to make deliveries, and or pickups of all fabricated duct work to job locations, or parts to related projects.

Returned any, and all UN-used materials (copper pipe/ related fittings, vents/grills/registers, galvanized round duct pipe/related fittings for credits and or refunds from finished projects.

Electrical knowledge: Florescent light bulb replacement, install exit signs, ballast replacement, install outlets and light switches, and wall timers for lighting).

Dealt directly with all contracted service techs, contractors, and vendors to ensure proper operations of equipment.
