Objective:

In search of a career that will incorporate my year’s of experience as a teacher. I seek a career that will challenge my creativity and allow me to execute my leadership skills to meet the high standards of a progressive company in any facet of business or educational training. My strong interpersonal and collaborative skills, as an effective team member, will facilitate a position in job training, research & development, and/or task-oriented missions required by a company or learning institution.

Qualifications:

I am a veteran teacher with over 28 years of teaching experience. I have strong leadership skills and have been on a number of grade-level teams with a focus on teaching elementary school students in all subjects including math, language arts, socials studies, and science. My years of experience and professional training have helped me hone effective pedagogical techniques that provide students with a solid educational background that instills conceptual learning reliant on critical and higher-order thinking skills. I have used interactive educational computer applications that help deliver effective instruction that engages students to make learning meaningful and relevant to real-world situations. I have inspired students to see the power of growth mindset and I believe I can do the same in the adult workplace. Positivity is a contagion and if you can apply that in any work culture, participants can empower themselves to meet their highest abilities and see the value that collaboration can have meeting team goals or company objectives in their business model.

I enjoy all outdoor activities including hiking, biking, and running. Anything related to the beach is my passion as well especially surfing. I enjoy any nonfiction books related to the Civil War as well as World War II era books.
