Supervise and monitor the site jobs with respect to Safety, quality and schedule.

To maintain all Electrical equipment’s with safety and quality procedures considering schedule and budget limitations.

Review the daily plan and distribute the daily/ shutdown activities.

Coordinate with other sections / departments with respect to previous, current and emergency activities through daily meetings and other communication channels.

Review the work orders and close the completed jobs and review the next day plan utilizing SAP system

To coach, support, motivate and plan training for my subordinate’s development in terms of quality, safety and technical skills,

To recommend the Electrical/tools needed and manpower in order to include it in the yearly budget.

Reviews inspection, quality and prepare reports and observe progress of work all major overhauls to evaluate efficiency and work quality.

To participate as a member or team leader in investigation, safety, quality committees and on-call programs,

Reserve and arrange critical as well as non-critical spare sprats for timely finishing of Preventive and brake down activities.

Co-ordinate with vendor for frequent failure, design related and unknown issues of electrical equipment and find solution for smooth operation.

Carries out the routine, predictive and preventive maintenance check on electrical equipment such as MV, LV motors, transformers, emergency diesel generator, motorized operated valves, MV, LV switchgears, and protection relay. Including visual inspection in switchgears and all running motors in every shift.

Carries out preventive maintenance and troubleshooting such as UPS, Battery charger, MV, LV switchgear, Motor Control Centre, Variable Frequency Drives control, Soft starter control.

Carries out electrical maintenance or repair work in GIS substation.

Energized and De-energized of 230/ 115KV/34.5KV /13.8 KV/4.16 KV Power Distribution feeder and applied lock out tag out.

Checks battery bank and topping-up electrolyte levels.

Authorized Lock out tag out and receive Permit to Work to perform jobs safely.
