As a call center agent with Navient, I handle approximately 40-50 calls per day. During these calls I review consumer applications and advice of application statuses for our program.
June 2020- Nov 2022: IQVIA/Abbvie
As a call center agent with Abbvie I assisted patients who were enrolled in our savings program. The program assisted patients with paying for their medications. My job was to support the callers with any program information or resources.
Jan 2015-April 2020: Duke University Health System (PRMO)
Patient Service Associate in Wound Management/Reconstructive Plastic Surgery and Dermatology. As a PSA my job responsibilities are to check in patients upon arrival, as well as schedule any follow up or referral appointments at check out. I am responsible for maintaining as cash till throughout the day, maintain and clear workques and other small daily task. Outside of my responsibilities as PSA, I am also familiar with charge reconciliations and cash manger duties. I have acquired experience with financial care counselor duties. Such as claim edits, obtaining insurance authorizations, as well as reviewing future dated appointments in advance in order to insure insurance authorizations and requirements are met prior to the patients arrival.

The information being entered dealt mostly with the customers’ companies bottom line .I also was responsible for completing inspections on the information to ensure that it was being entered correctly, using excel.

I was a general receptionist. I also worked very closely with the Asst. of directors for the plant. My duties were to greet incoming guest, answer all incoming calls, as well as take work orders from the callers whom were reporting any problems or malfunctions around the school campus. Most calls were to be reported to the appropriate department; from plumbing, transportation, and HVAC.

I worked in a textile warehouse as a flat work person. I was responsible for producing a certain amount of linen at hourly bases. Once the linen was processed it was to be put onto the assembly line to be distributed throughout the area to local hospitals and clinics.

I worked for the company for several years and held several different positions while there. I worked as the fitting room/telephone operator. I was responsible for answering all incoming calls through the customer service line, dispatch them to the correct area all while assigning fitting rooms to customers. I worked in the jewelry department, where I ordered, stocked, and sold merchandise. I gained experience in sales and handling large cash tills and multiple transactions. I also dealt tactfully and effectively with difficult customers.
